Mary, unfortunately we’re using a different technology this year, and I’m not sure that the visual scrubbing is going to work anytime soon. One of the best ways to use the video loopback is to note from the Twitter feeds the time at which a particular event occurred and then go back to that time to view it. We agree completely that the visual scrubbing would be very important if we can make it work!

That being said, it’s hard to scroll through the dvr unless it flicks through the stills if you mouse over the timeline. You know? Last year I used to mouse over the timeline and watch for anything exciting happening, and then I would click on that time period and start watching at normal speed. But this beta test for the dvr doesn’t allow that. Will that be part of the planned functionality?
