Osprey is Showing A Lot Of Interest In The Nest!
This osprey visited the owls’ nest at least three times on Friday, at 9:15, 10:00, and 14:00. And he’s just been seen again at 9:58 on Saturday morning. This is a pretty similar pattern to the GHO’s when they started visiting the nest frequently. I’m not sure the old lease is up yet, and they’re already flocking around the place!!
Saw an osprey on the Great Horned Owl nest this morning (around 8:45 AM EDT, April 7th). Seemed quite at home. It even rearranged a couple of sticks before flying away.
