My wife and I have really been enjoying your Bird Cam. It is so cool to know that this is just a few miles away (and 75 feet up!).
I noticed two interesting bits today.
At 7:37:00, the larger of the two owlets flaps its wings 20 times, as if it was trying to fly.
Then, at 9:05:53, a little bird ventures into the nest while the owlets are sleeping. A few seconds later, it grabs something out of the nest and takes off out of there. The owlets stir a bit.
The mother must have been near. Less than a second after the bird takes off, she arrives at the nest with her claws outstretched. She looks at her left claw, wondering what happened. So close!
