This is getting very interesting. The ospreys made another visit this morning at 10:18 and the male immediately went into his guarding pose indicating ownership of the nest. He has done this each time they two have been there together. Is this a sign?? Let’s hope so!

The two ospreys have visited the nest at least a couple of times this morning and between 8:30 and about 9:10 were seen together bringing in new nest material. This osprey visited the owls’ nest at least three times on Friday, at 9:15, 10:00, and 14:00. And he’s just been seen again at 9:58 on Saturday morning. This is a pretty similar pattern to the GHO’s when they started visiting the nest frequently. I’m not sure the old lease is up yet, and they’re already flocking around the place!!...
